The Maintenance Supervisor supervises, coordinates the subcontracted company for maintenance and ensure the correct planning and execution of the preventative maintenance program daily, weekly, monthly, and annually, executing and administering through KPIs, managing necessary expense of the maintenance area, ensuring the immediate response for corrective maintenance as well as the performance of RCA to prevent breakdowns, monitor and manage supplier performance. Assisting in the evaluation and execution of continuous improvement projects as well as investment projects in the plant. It is also responsible for ensuring the availability of water, compressed air, industrial water, maintainability of buildings, green areas lighting, climates, and roads.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform and verify the correct planning of the application of preventative and/or corrective maintenance
  • Organize maintenance activities
  • Keep track of preventative and/or corrective maintenance carried out
  • Verify maintenance carried out
  • Troubleshoot the area
  • Manage third party providers
  • Manage CapEx and continuous improvement projects
  • Budget management
  • Employ and ensure the implementation of the QMS matrix of applicable processes and documents and the EMS role, responsibility, and authority matrix
  • Identify, evaluate and mitigate occupational health and safety risks, environmental aspects, and impacts
  • Adherence to procedures and regulations aimed at complying with applicable environmental and occupational health and safety regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronic or related Engineering
  • 4yrs as a Maintenance Supervisor

Preferred Qualifications::

  • Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronic or related Engineering
  • 6yrs as a Maintenance Supervisor for manufacturing companies

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Commitment - Taking responsibility, effective communication, process control management, focus on results, achievement of objectives, honesty, initiative, integrity, emotional intelligence, leadership, people development, planning, problem solving, development of alternatives, decision making; tactical or operational, work under pressure, teamwork, collaborate for results
  • Knowledge of equipment and maintenance, preventative, corrective and predictive, knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards, interpretation of drawings (electrical, sanitary, hydraulic, knowledge in metal working and electrical industry, knowledge of TPM, knowledge of development of MTTR, MTBF, and OEE, management of continuous improvement tools (lean manufacturing), project management, mechanical and electrical industrial maintenance, knowledge of automation systems and PLC
  • AutoCAD, SAP
  • In accordance with the current technical training matrix and in accordance with the current safety, hygiene and environment training matrix by position
